Aces offense continues to Roll
With five games between Section 1B games, the Red Wing Aces have started to tear the cover off the ball. Going off for 14 hits on Thursday, the Aces pounded the Kewaskum (Wisconsin) A’s in a 10-0 seven-inning victory at the Red Wing Athletic Field. The Aces led off the Classic Cannon Valley League tilt with a 1-0 lead when Steve Boldt drove in Josh Thygesen with a single in the top of the first inning. That would be all Red Wing would get until a one-out, ninth-inning RBI single from Brady Schroeder gave the Aces some late life. Dylan Gausman an
Northfield rallies late to beat Aces
The Red Wing Aces were unable to hold onto an early 2-0 lead as Northfield scored four runs total in the eighth and ninth innings to leave the Red Wing Athletic Field with a 6-3 Classic Cannon Valley League victory on Sunday. The Aces tacked on their first run in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Ty Buck that scored Adam Thygesen from second. Then in the fourth, Red Wing went up 2-0 on a sacrifice fly from Alex Quiding that scored Kyle Blahnik. The Knights tied the
